A Monk’s Tale – 6th October
We’re looking forward to hosting this brilliant comedy play by James Cary, award-winning writer of BBC’s Miranda, Bluestone 42 and the play The God Particle.
On the evening of Friday 6th October 2017, get ready for a roller-coaster guide to the events of 500 years ago…
The show is about Martin Luther. And it’s for people who aren’t quite sure which Luther we’re talking about.
With a feeling of Horrible Histories and Monty Python, A Monk’s Tale helps us understand exactly what Luther was trying to do with his 95 Theses, which sparked one of the most significant movements in history: the Reformation!
Doors open at 7.30pm, ready for an 8pm performance. Refreshments will be served. Tickets cost £5 in advance, or £7 on the door – book now by e-mailing amonkstale@morden.church and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
