Who’s Who?

Mark Davey – Team Vicar

Mark has been vicar of St Martin’s since 2017. He is married to Helena and has two young children. In his spare time, Mark is an avid Brighton and Hove Albion FC fan and can often be found at the Amex stadium on a Saturday afternoon. He also enjoys walks in the countryside, watching films and talking to people about Jesus.

Chris Scoffield – Church Warden

Chris is married to Liz and has two grown-up children. He is a proud season ticket-holder of Sutton United FC and is an avid music-lover. In Chris’ spare time, he can often be found walking his beloved sausage dogs, listening to vinyl or watching live music.

Peter Wellman – Lay Reader

Peter is married to Stephanie and has two grown up sons. He is kept busy by his five energetic grandchildren as well as his hobbies of running and swimming. When he’s not run off his feet, he enjoys studying theology and learning French.

Wendy Tchilingirian – Pastoral Care Coordinator

Wendy has been a member of St Martin’s since she was a child. She is married to Soukias, has two grown-up sons and three grandsons. After a long and enjoyable career as a nurse she is now able to enjoy more reading, walking, knitting and spending time with family and friends.

Shirley Anna Whyte – Ministry Trainee
