Tight bowling and much improved fielding by Morden restricted Prims to a lowly scoring rate fo under 2 per over and thus a very achievable target. Ben enjoyed little luck whilst taking 1 wicket in his opening 12 overs. He was replaced by Alan who promptly took 2 in his first 5 balls.
Morden made 5 changes to the previous week's team but the new players all performed well. Ed and Omar bowled well, with Skakir fielding athletically and Gaz batting confidently. This meant Prims could score only 1 boundary in their innings.
Ben hit 4 fours in a quickfire 37 as Morden raced to a comfortable victory. Things could have been different when he was on 20 as he missed a full toss and was bowled, only for the square leg umpire to contentiously call a No-Ball for it arriving above shoulder height. Debate raged...but Morden won the match.
