St Martin's Church - Children and Youth

Nurturing the children and young people that God has blessed us with is a high priority for us as a church.

There are a number of ways we seek to do this as a church:

Sunday Groups

From our creche, up through Beginners, All Stars, Trailblazers, Pathfinders and Genesis, there is something for everyones on a Sunday morning. The groups do a mixture of arts, crafts, songs, discussions and Bible studies. For many of the older members of the church, a highlight of the service is when they find out what some of the younger ones have been doing in their groups.

Children’s Group

Our Children’s group is held on the last Saturday each month. From 6.30 - 8.00 pm we run activities for ages 5 - 10. Where the emphasis is on games and craft activities. We also have quizzes and video evenings.

From 8.00 - 9.30 pm on the same night we run an 11 + group, only recently started the evening is much more low key with the young people deciding what they want to do with their time there. We run team games and snooker and table tennis but if they prefer to relax with the Playstation 2 then that’s fine as well.
