Car trip to Weald and Downland Living Museum
This year we will be visiting the Weald and Downland Living Museum in Singleton, West Sussex. Set in the beautiful countryside of the South Downs, this open air museum contains a collection of over 50 period buildings rescued from south east England dating from 950 AD to the 19th century, (giving a glimpse of how people lived in the past), along with gardens, farm animals, walks as well as a working mill. Being their anniversary weekend, this should be a good day out as the museum is putting on a special programme, supported by their craft people giving demonstrations on a variety of building trades. The group entry costs are:
- £12.30 – Adult
- £10.60 – 60+
- £4.40 – children aged 4 – 17
To ensure Covid safety, the museum requires booking in advance. Please contact Tom and May to book as soon as possible. Having visited the museum ourselves, we would highly recommend a visit – it is now also home to the “Repair Shop”!
