Nurturing the children and young people in the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ is a high priority for us as a church, as well as supporting parents in the key role they have in this. We have a small but strong group of children at St Martin’s. We seek to teach the Bible to them in age-appropriate ways with a lot of fun thrown in. Sunday Club meets most Sundays, except when we have an all-age service. As well as Sundays, we occasionally organise themed events with craft, games, songs and Bible teaching. All our teachers and helpers are subject to safeguarding checks.

We have a crèche available for children aged 0-3 years which is available during all services (excluding the all-age service)

Sunday Club

Our Sunday Club caters for children aged 3-11 years.  We are currently using teaching material from “Jude’s Sunday Gang.” Please click on the following link for more details:

Youth work is done at a Parish level, joining the young people from the four churches. “Rooted” runs every Sunday afternoon during term time and all are welcome.
